This is "Victorian Lady". It is a limited print, signed and sent from the artist, in Germany. She often embellishes watercolors with gold accents, and vice versus, adding a depth of meaning between the opaque, fluid, and reflective, with organic drips and blurs evoking a dynamic sense that the figures have 'spilled forth': constituted from a place of gentle chaos, juxtaposing the often demure countenance of her subject.
For me, the effect is a restrained, or perhaps solidified,
sense of whimsy and foreboding: as a cloud takes most specific shape in one's memory; commentating on active-moment nostalgia for idyllic archetypes, layered aesthetic, and details left unrealized, to be honed within the viewers' precepts.
